Having noticed a distinct lack of decent mock-ups of Alden Ehrenreich – Now confirmed to play Han Solo in the upcoming and untitled Han Solo Anthology movie – Joe took to Photoshop. 

I don’t know about you, but I myself am desperate for any details regarding the new Han Solo movie. So, instead of waiting for someone to either leak a set photo or create fan art, I thought I’d cut the queue and find out what Alden Ehrenreich would look like as Han Solo myself.

So, with a little bit of Photoshop knowhow, I took these two source images, and smashed them together…

Beforehand, without any frame of reference to go by, I was still a little bit uncertain of the casting choice, but having done this, and tried to maintain realistic lighting and proportion, I feel like Alden definitely looks the part, and will be able to inhabit the role, at least based on looks.

It remains to be seen if he can act the part, but based on his scene stealing performance in “Hail Caesar!” I think it’s fair to say Han is in safe hands.
